I am crushed. Deflated. Empty. I've just learned that my dear friend and brother Deacon, Tom Stallings died yesterday of a heart attack. He was young, mid-40s. My heart and prayers go out to his wife, Trisha, and their children. I wish I could be there for the funeral to honor someone I love and respect deeply.
Please pray for Trisha and family, and especially for the repose of Tom's soul as he goes to meet our Lord. May the first words he hears be, "Welcome, Tom, my good and faithful servant."
